Uptempo Hoops Basketball is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing Bay Area youth both on and off the court. We are a community-driven organization passionate about shaping the future of our youth, emphasizing fundamentals, respect, teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship.

With our years of service and strong reputation in the community, Uptempo Hoops has built lasting relationships with coaches and schools at all levels of collegiate competition, as well as through our program alumni. We leverage these connections to provide our athletes with guidance, mentorship, and opportunities to further their basketball careers and pursue their athletic goals beyond high school.

Based in the Tri-City Area—Fremont, Newark, and Union City—our select teams compete in elite-level and NCAA-certified showcase events across the West Coast.

As an independent, grassroots non-profit, Uptempo Hoops provides high-level basketball development and exposure while being mindful of family expenses. We carefully select events that match each team’s skill level, offering elite competition and valuable exposure without burdening families with unnecessary costs. Our focus is on developing skills, confidence, and growth for every athlete—not just winning.
